TUNE parameter

What is the aff_id parameter?

aff_id is TUNE's your tune affiliate id. aff_id identifies you in TUNE-powered programs. Afterlink detects TUNE links by the offer_id + aff_id parameter signature regardless of domain, which is how white-label links on custom tracking domains get recognized at all.

Where it appears

In the affiliate link you publish

Example

https://track.brand-offers.com/aff_c?offer_id=15&aff_id=43185

If aff_id is missing

Without aff_id the click cannot credit you. Note that TUNE setups often RENAME it mid-chain (affiliate_id, or embedded into utm values) — the value surviving matters, not the name.

How TUNE tracking fits together

TUNE is white-label software: each brand runs it on its own tracking domain (track.brand.com, go.brand-offers.com, etc.). Links hit an /aff_c or /aff_l endpoint with offer_id and aff_id, register the click, and redirect to the offer’s landing page.

Because every brand’s domain is different, TUNE links are identified by their parameter signature, not their domain — which is exactly how Afterlink’s detector recognizes them. Offers are versioned and retired frequently; offer_id=15 might be replaced by offer_id=42 with a new landing page, orphaning your old links.
