White-label tracking platform

TUNE Affiliate Link Checker

HasOffers

TUNE (HasOffers) powers the in-house affiliate programs of many VPNs, fintechs, and direct brands — links live on custom tracking domains you’d never associate with a "network", carrying offer_id and aff_id parameters. When the brand retires an offer, the link dies with an error page or generic redirect, and there’s no network dashboard to warn you.

How TUNE links work

Typical link

https://track.brand-offers.com/aff_c?offer_id=15&aff_id=43185&aff_sub=my-campaign

TUNE is white-label software: each brand runs it on its own tracking domain (track.brand.com, go.brand-offers.com, etc.). Links hit an /aff_c or /aff_l endpoint with offer_id and aff_id, register the click, and redirect to the offer’s landing page.

Because every brand’s domain is different, TUNE links are identified by their parameter signature, not their domain — which is exactly how Afterlink’s detector recognizes them. Offers are versioned and retired frequently; offer_id=15 might be replaced by offer_id=42 with a new landing page, orphaning your old links.

How TUNE links break

Offer retired

The most common failure: the offer_id no longer exists, so clicks land on an error page or a default redirect with no payout mapping.

Parameter renaming on redirect

TUNE setups often transform parameters mid-chain (aff_id becoming affiliate_id or embedded into utm values). Checkers that expect identical parameter names false-alarm on healthy links.

Tracking domain migration

Brands rotate tracking domains; the old domain eventually lapses and every historic link 404s or worse, gets bought by someone else.

Error signals Afterlink detects

These are actual failure fingerprints from Afterlink's validation engine for TUNE links:

  • "offer not found" style error pages
  • Redirect to a generic page unrelated to the offer
  • Tracking domain no longer resolving

How Afterlink checks TUNE links

Afterlink extracts every link from your YouTube channel or website, recognizes TUNE links by domain and parameter signature, then runs five checks on each one: the full redirect chain (including JavaScript and meta-refresh redirects), network error-page detection, destination verification against the embedded target, tracking parameter analysis, and deep-link decay detection (product page silently replaced by a homepage). Every link gets a clear verdict — working, warning, or broken — with the evidence attached.

Frequently asked questions

How do I even know a link is a TUNE link?

Look for the parameter signature: offer_id + aff_id (often with aff_sub) on a tracking domain. Afterlink detects TUNE links by these parameters regardless of the domain, so brand-specific tracking hosts don’t hide them.

The brand gave me a new link — do old ones stop working?

Often yes: new links usually mean a new offer_id, and the old offer gets retired on the brand’s schedule, not yours. Update everywhere you posted the old link — after finding those spots with a scan.
