What is the pubref parameter?
pubref is Partnerize's your partnerize sub-reference. pubref is Partnerize’s publisher-defined sub-ID, also path-encoded (/pubref:my-ref/). Use it per placement to see which content drives conversions in Partnerize reporting.

How Partnerize tracking fits together
Partnerize encodes tracking as path segments: /click/camref:XXXX/destination:URL. The camref identifies your partnership; the destination segment carries the target page. On click, Partnerize registers the event and redirects.
Because everything is path-encoded, naive link checkers that parse query parameters see "no tracking parameters" and either false-alarm or skip validation. A Partnerize-aware checker parses the path segments.
