Impact Affiliate Link Checker

impact.com / Impact Radius

Impact affiliate links use per-brand vanity domains (brand.pxf.io, brand.sjv.io, goto.walmart.com), which makes broken ones hard to spot: when a campaign ends, the subdomain may keep resolving but redirect without credit or show "this offer is no longer available". Checking Impact links means resolving the vanity domain, following the redirect, and confirming the click actually registered.

How Impact links work

Typical link

https://brand-name.pxf.io/c/1234567/8901234/5678

Impact issues each brand program its own tracking domain — typically a subdomain of pxf.io, sjv.io, or evyy.net, or a branded domain like goto.walmart.com. The path encodes your campaign and the destination; there is usually no visible destination URL inside the link.

On click, Impact registers the event server-side and redirects to the merchant, normally appending an irclickid. Because the destination is invisible from the link itself, the only way to know where an Impact link goes — and whether it still works — is to actually follow it.

How Impact links break

Campaign or contract ends

When a brand pauses its program or removes you as a partner, links show "this offer is no longer available" or redirect to the brand homepage uncredited. The vanity subdomain often still resolves, so the link looks alive.

Dead deep-link destination

The product page behind the tracking link gets removed. Impact redirects successfully — to a 404 or the homepage. Tracking fires, conversions don’t.

Vanity domain confusion

Publishers frequently don’t recognize pxf.io or sjv.io links as Impact links at all, so those links get skipped in manual audits entirely.

Error signals Afterlink detects

These are actual failure fingerprints from Afterlink's validation engine for Impact links:

  • "this offer is no longer available"
  • "campaign has ended" / "this campaign is not active"
  • "sorry, this link is no longer valid"
  • Redirect to brand homepage instead of the deep-linked page

How Afterlink checks Impact links

Afterlink extracts every link from your YouTube channel or website, recognizes Impact links by domain and parameter signature, then runs five checks on each one: the full redirect chain (including JavaScript and meta-refresh redirects), network error-page detection, destination verification against the embedded target, tracking parameter analysis, and deep-link decay detection (product page silently replaced by a homepage). Every link gets a clear verdict — working, warning, or broken — with the evidence attached.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my pxf.io link redirect to the homepage?

Either the deep-linked product page was removed (the merchant falls back to the homepage) or the campaign ended and Impact sends residual traffic to a default landing page. The first still tracks but converts poorly; the second earns nothing. Following the redirect chain and checking for a click ID tells you which case you’re in.

Are sjv.io, pxf.io and evyy.net links safe?

Yes — they are legitimate Impact tracking domains, not spam. Each brand on Impact gets its own subdomain on one of these domains.

How do I test if an Impact link still tracks?

Click it and look for irclickid in the final URL, then confirm the click appears in your Impact dashboard within a few minutes. If neither happens repeatedly, treat the link as dead.

Can I check hundreds of Impact links at once?

Manually, no — each link must be followed through its redirect chain. Afterlink scans your channel or site, finds every Impact vanity-domain link automatically, and validates each one, including the destination page.
