How Tradedoubler tracking fits together
Tradedoubler links pass program (p), affiliate (a), and ad (g) IDs through clk.tradedoubler.com, optionally with a url destination. On click, Tradedoubler registers the event and forwards with a tduid click identifier.
Tradedoubler has operated since the dot-com era, so European content archives are full of its links — many pointing at programs that no longer exist. Old-content audits find more dead Tradedoubler links than any other European network.
