Geo-redirect

A geo-redirect is a site sending visitors to a different regional version based on location — brand.com to brand.de, or a US store to its EU storefront. For affiliates it can silently break attribution when the regional site runs a different (or no) affiliate program.

Geo-redirects are location-dependent by definition: your link tests fine from the US while EU visitors get redirected somewhere your tracking doesn't follow. Known problem merchants and same-brand cross-TLD hops are worth flagging, but most same-brand regional redirects work fine — treating them all as broken produces noise, not insight.
