Evergreen content

Evergreen content is content that stays relevant and keeps attracting traffic for years — tutorials, reviews, "best X" roundups. It is the backbone of affiliate income and, simultaneously, where link rot does its worst damage.

The economics are asymmetric: evergreen pieces earn on autopilot precisely because nobody touches them — and nobody touching them is why their links quietly die. A three-year-old review pulling steady search traffic with two dead affiliate links is the modal affiliate revenue leak. Continuous monitoring exists for exactly this asset class.
