Cookie window (attribution window)

The cookie window is how long after a click a purchase still credits the referring affiliate — commonly 30 days, but set per program from 24 hours to 90+ days. A purchase inside the window pays; one outside it doesn't.

Windows are program policy, not link mechanics — no link check can verify them. What link health determines is whether the window ever starts: a broken link means the click never registers, so there is no window at all.

Terminology is step one. Knowing which of YOUR links are broken is the paid-off version. Afterlink scans your entire YouTube channel or website, follows every redirect chain, and alerts you the day a link breaks.
